April 15, 2012 Poppy-tu came to us in a round-about way. A man requested a white Pom. Poppy was flown here, but the man didn't want to pay for him. Poppy-tu ended up with a woman who does rescue. We adopted Poppy-tu from her. He is a delightful and smart little guy. We are so excited to have him. I had it on video, but Mike won’t let me send it because he’s in his underwear. We also bought him some stairs. We worked with him only a few times and now he is flying up and down the stairs into and out of the bed!!! He is obviously the most intelligent Pomeranian ever bred (except for Molly, of course!). Much to Sissie’s disgust, he loves to lick her face after she has eaten. We took Poppy to the dock last night. We stopped at a store so I could get something to drink, and he had a tiz-whiz in the car when I got out. Then we went to the dock. One of the people touched him on the leg, and he screamed and kept crying. We went to our new dock, and he let someone there hold him and pet him. I think he was just still upset about being left in the car when the first person tried to say hello. He wanted me to let him down to walk, but I was scared to do that because he hasn’t had all of his vaccines. So, I danced with him and he loved that - stopped squirming to get down.
