First snow of 2008:



Molly and Andi experienced the cold quite differently.
Whereas Andi's nose and paws stayed warm, Molly's were ice cold.
Molly spent the day in my office chair, snuggling down in blankets.
Note that the chair is located near the air vent in our bedroom,
so she had lots of warm air as well:



I got a chance to wear my new goofy hat.
We went to eat at a local restaurant,
where two little girls giggled when they saw my hat.
One said "mommy, that girl is funny"

This next picture cracks me up. As I was watching, Molly laid on her side next to Andi,
doing this waving paw thing she does when she wants attention.
Here's what it looks like:



She was trying to get Andi to play with her, but Andi was completely ignoring her.
They are so funny. I don't think we've ever had doggies who are "buddies."
Lanie loved Hobbes -- would walk by him and lick him on the face.
Hobbes ignored Lanie. Andi, who was half the size of Hobbes, intimidated Hobbes,
who either backed down, ran to us for protection,
or just ignored her. Molly moved in and became the boss,
so she bossed Hobbes, who either backed down, ran to us for protection
(unless Molly herded him away before he could get to us) or ignored her.
She bosses Andi, who also ignores her. They are a trip.

For reasons unknown to me, Andi and Molly have recently
begun to hang out in their toy basket. Go figure:

Andi had surgery to remove the pins in one of her legs.
She had to wear a cone on her head for a while.
